I love the pass Limits but is there a way that the pass limits can be for spacific locations only?
For example: Student only have 2 passes a day and the cousilor request to see them, which uses 1 pass, then student needs to see the nurse and that takes the other. Now the student has no passes.
I know that teachers have the ablility to override the passes but would it be possible to set locations as not counting towards pass limit?
This would be great. We have “late” set as a room so students go from late to the room #, but then it counts against their total.
We need this! We’d love to limit the bathroom to, let’s say, 2/day, while the health office is unlimited passes and everything else in between. If they come to school late and are called to the office to get something, they are out of passes for the rest of the day. We would love to have multiple limits for specific areas. Game changer!!!
This would be fantastic! We don’t want to limit students who may be sent/requested somewhere by a teacher. We want students to have the necessary access for technology issues, checking out books, using spaces as a reward when they are caught up with their work, and visiting other classrooms… all without using one of their designated passes.
Also think about limiting passes to locations based upon the location they are in. We have a problem with students making passes to bathrooms that are not the nearest to their location. Think about linking locations so that students could only make passes for specific locations from identified classrooms.
Yes! This is needed to make the system work. Our teachers have been upset that they can’t limit passes to the bathroom without impacting other locations.
Yes, I would love to be able to limit the number of times a student can leave my classroom per marking period or semester (without needing an override). If every teacher in our school had this set up, it would also dramatically limit the number of students roaming the halls.
This would be a huge upgrade to the platform! We have been restricting bathroom passes, but if a student uses a pass to go to guidance, office, nurse, etc., they used up one of their passes.
