Student Data Report#1985

M

If you accept suggestions for product improvements, one feature we would find extremely useful is the ability to generate and download a comprehensive, user-friendly report directly from SmartPass.

Rather than simply exporting raw data, the report could summarize the information in language that is easy for administrators, teachers, parents, and other stakeholders to understand. For example, it could include the number of passes by class period, total number of passes, average pass duration, cumulative time out of class, and an estimate of total instructional time lost.

It would also be helpful to identify trends such as which periods have the highest number of passes, frequent pass users, average instructional minutes lost per student, repeated destinations, and other relevant patterns that may help schools evaluate the impact of student movement on instructional time.

Ideally, the report could be generated for an individual student, group of students, or the entire school and filtered by a selected date range. A concise summary with charts or graphs, along with the supporting data, would make it particularly useful for parent meetings, MTSS/SST discussions, attendance and intervention meetings, staff presentations, and sharing data with district leadership.

Having the ability to download the finished report as a PDF, with an option to export the underlying data to Excel/CSV, would be extremely valuable. This is a feature we would use frequently and would make the data already collected through SmartPass much more actionable for schools.
