Consider writing into the software that an automatic Smartpass is generated for students who have signed up to attend an Activity during Flex. Make the options of the pass a universal toggle in the Flex module. For instance, all automatic SmartPasses issued for Flex activities are created as a 5 minute One-way pass. Make the 5-minute variable an adjustable for campuses of smaller and larger size. The automatic pass could pull information from the activity information like teacher name or room number.
